The Write On Mamas had a fantastic year. We achieved so many amazing things, not only as a group but as individuals, that we thought it might be nice to let people know were we were published and where we read our work in 2013. Write On Mamas: We raised $2680 in our second Indiegogo Campaign to help with the final costs of our self-published anthology. We have 26 of our members contributing heart-warming and inspirational essays for our anthology and we have hired professional editors and copy editors to help us produce a top quality book. Publication is scheduled for April/May 2014. We also performed at Lit Crawl for the second year running, and ended up shouting our carefully written essays standing on a window sill in a busy and noise taqueria in the Mission. What fun! Five of our members were asked to read at the Local Women Writers Series at O’Hanlon Center for the Arts.
